Dude was the epitome of cool in every film he was in. The ending to Thief with Tangerine Dream blasting in the background is hitting a bit harder right now. R.I.P. to a legend.

I was reading up on James a little this morning, and I read that while he was on sabbatical from acting, he coached a Little League baseball team. There was an incident where his team's weakest player hit a home run that won a game. Caan said that this was one of the greatest moments of his life.

James. Enjoyed your performances in The Godfather, The Gambler, Thief, Misery, and Elf.
