I remember my pops and uncle took me to see him live in concert, 17, I didn't wanna go, thought it was old people music. 

And why everybody in this motherfukker have on white I had on some polo/fubu shyt, Out of place like a motherfuker.

This was the best concert I ever went to; I may have been the youngest cat in there and I was cutting up. Getting down.

He walked out to the song Running Away, and his aura/swag/confidence was on 1000, I had never seen anybody open up a show like that before.

I was in awe

Been having their Greatest Hits album on deep rotation.

Admittedly, the only song I knew before his death was Joy and Pain (Family used to play it in the 80s/90s at family reunions).
