They've been irrelevant for almost twenty years but it's still sad to see them go. I still remember flipping through the catalogs in the 90s for the shoes I wanted but that my mom couldn't afford/refused to buy.

Oh shyt, I haven’t checked eastbay in years - stopped shopping there when they stopped shipping to the UK & start redirecting UK orders to Footlocker.
Got a lot of Jordans & exclusive airmax from there. And dem LRG days - copped a few LRG stuffs from there as well. But the Artful Dodger gilet jacket I got from there will be the best thing I ever got from eastbay - that jacket was a p*ssy magnet in college, lol.
I hope Dr. Jays isn’t closing shop as well tho.

That was a must-have for me because I have big feet. Just walking into a random Foot Locker was always pointless because the only sneakers they had in my size looked like something a 95 year old man in a retirement home would wear.
