In junior high school I use to read his weekly column on WWF.com regularly, along with The Ross Report. He would give his thoughts on the latest going ons In WWF and would update fans on his physical health.
He came off as a really smart dude and kind, and was very knowledgeable not just about the business but a lot of topics. Never came off as bitter and angry about how things ended for him in the ring, when he easily could’ve. It was always positive vibes.

I remember the accident, happened at a smackdown taping at Nassau coliseum, a few kids in my high school went to the taping.
