I had dude on my mind a few weeks ago while listening to their 2nd album thinking about how Polo was alleged to have had his hand in pimping before the music and reading how Superhead said G Rap treated her it made sense that G Rap and Polo would mesh if what she said is true.

early 90s was the last era where the MC would give the DJ his own shine on the album. Gotta spin this track, hence Wanted Dead Or Alive was the first G Rap and Polo album I got into. The memories.

My ideas overload
And the records I make explode in every zip code
Definitely def, the five fingers of death
Doc's the Butcher, Polo's the chef

Polo works the crossfader, he's a bricklayer
And the record player turns like the Himalaya
Doctor Butcher supplies the cement
And the rhymes that I invent is the blueprint
While I'm using my mind to make a design
Polo puts up the Men at Work sign.

R.I.P Polo
