Let me re-word my original statement. What I had meant to say was that Conor is currently one of the most talked about athletes in combat sports.

That's still literally because of the promotion and hype the ufc has put into the guy. If he loses he's uriah hall status like i said. I mean you say that but the guy isn't even kovalev or ggg status really. Connor is truly on borrowed time. He's gerry c00ney status if we're being 100% honest here. All of his " google stats" and all of that is because of the push he's getting for this fight, not because he's actually popular or truly known.

Sonnen only drew against anderson and that was because of the first fight. Wouldn't call either of those guys "draws".

Bisping is a draw. Hes big in the UK. Theres a reason hes accumulated the most money. And Sonnen is the reason silva became a huge star. He wasnt doing shyt for four years numbers wise before the sonnen fight. I dont think mcgregor will be an all time great or beat the top of his division. But your prediction that hes going to be Uriah Hall ( who doesnt have 1/4 of mcgregor personality nor ability to put on entertaining fights) or fall all the way to the fight pass openers is wrong. He will be a top star and headline cards/ draw money, viewers, etc for years to come

Bisping being a draw in another country because he was basically their first successful fighter isn't impressive. I'm also only talking about draw in this country. Neither guy can headline a ppv off their names. That's a draw. Mma maybe has two draws. Calling these people draws is a complete misuse of the term. They can't pull in millions of viewers on regular tv off their names alone. Those guys are not draws unless you're severely b*stardizing the term to fit mma.
See now you are moving goal post. What difference does it make the locale? Hes an international star and can move tickets/gain viewers whether its asia or europe. Sonnen always drew interest in his second run which is why he was always gifted title shots/main event. There is more to being a draw then PPV buys. And Connor is heading in that direction. He already has the highest FP numbers. His fight earlier against Siver is still the highest rated this year. He has a huge following internationally. He will do well at 189 and future events. I don't understand why you are even denying this like he and the two I mentioned before are straight bums

Conor's mouth will always get him money. Bisping still gets paid pretty well. Sonnen got so many perks and chances because of his dome. Conor has already done what Bisping hasn't yet which is land a title shot. Sonnen got a gift at fighting at 205 against Jones. Conor can lose this and still get a 155 shot and possibly a 170. He's very marketable to the east coast where the Irish are at.
