I've watched this dude's highlights and he looks like a solid prospect, but he isn't going to be a game changer. Conor's game revolves heavily around his boxing, and this guy's boxing skillset isn't even close to what Conor possesses. He imitates his style well, but he doesn't gauge/understand distance & range, use angles and have footwork/movement like Conor does.

This is a great get for Aldo.

Question is....whose Conor gonna train with to prepare him for Jose? I doubt those dudes he trains w/ in Ireland can help him do that.

I still think Jose's wrestling/grappling will have to come into play in order for him to seal the victory.

People have a hard time seeing without emotions or bias and it causes them to jump the gun. No one is saying that his guy is an exact copy of Connor, or that this will seal the deal on the fight in the favor of Aldo. But this IS A GREAT Tool. To have someone who understand why your opponent "moves here, jabs here and kicks here" is great because it helps you to understand his skill set and create defenses for it. Also im sure working with someone like that, Aldo has learned a new trick or two also. :manny:

Conor is becoming one of the biggest names in combat sports, not just MMA..
Cut it all the way the fukk out. As soon as he loses he'll be forgotten. He isn't even that big of a name in mma, it's just the hype and promotion. Big names won't become irrelevant after losing a fight, but mcgregor's entire manufactured aura would be completely shattered and he'd be uriah hall status.
