On Wednesday, the cause of death for former WWE performer Joanie "Chyna" Laurer was revealed by her longtime manager.
Laurer's longtime manager Anthony Anzaldo told the New York Daily News that she died from an accidental overdose of a mix of Ambien and Valium, medications of which she had been legally prescribed.
“She was inappropriately taking her legally prescribed medication over the course of two to three weeks,” Anzaldo said. “On Sunday night, her body had enough.”
An official toxicology report on Joanie Laurer is not expected to be released for several months.
This is sad. RIP Chyna. It angers me. I was given Ambien while in the hospital, and that shyt is useless, I still couldn't sleep. I was prescribed Valium while younger, and that's also useless, both can be easily abused. NOBODY with Addiction or Alcoholism issues should EVER be prescribed either.
