I remember the cultural effect she had when SW and ESB came out. After those movies, all of the girls, black and white, were trying to copy her braids and bun game. She made Leia come to life with her portrayal of a heroine who could exude grace, style, leadership, bravery, and compassion. She was one of a kind, and the impact she left on these movies will be remembered.
