It seems like, as the years go on, Hook in general has started to become more liked and celebrated in a positive kind of way. I'm glad too, because I loved it when I was a kid. It may be time for a rewatch soon. :obama:

Dope movie in 91 and dope now. I get some of the complaints about it being really saccharine but it's a really good flick with great character stuff. Like mushroomx said, it's about the perils of growing up but how you can forget what it's like to be a kid as a parent. And I know it's not much but peter being afraid of heights is always so good to me lol. Perfect irony and informs so much about him and who he used to be

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
:to: People forgot how much ether it contains. The shytty thing about growing old, is that not only do you not feel young but lose it as well. Peter wanted to become a dad, but in turn forgot about having fun with life. Neverland brought that back to him, teaching him to remember that while your older you don't have to act grumpy. To be a kid isn't about the number of years, but learning to swim with the tide. :youngsabo::to:

Preach it, brehs. I remember when I when I was a kid, that movie made me somewhat shook to grow up. I was like "If that's what it's like to grow up, then :camby:". That's why I'm glad things like YouTube, vintage websites, DVD boxsets, and Netflix are around so I can relive the late 80's/90's like :ahh:. Robin Williams was one of my favorites as a kid and Dustin Hoffman and Bob Hoskins as Hook and Smee are fantastic. I was shook of Hoffman's Hook. And @MushroomX that track brought the feels. :to: John Williams is the GOAT. No other composer can make you go :damn::gladbron::ooh: :to: like he can. Zimmer and Goldsmith are the only ones close to him.
