Angie Stone passing hit me hard I can’t front. It’s a sad story of someone who is a genuine light and extremely giving and generous and getting the short end of the stick every single time. She’s helped MAD people in the industry. And they just stole from her. Used her. And kinda casted her to the side. People always run the mouth about Jaguar Wright goofy lying ass. But Angie Stone is the TRUE story of how the industry fukks certain black women over. And the fukked up part. It’s other BLACK women who assisted. Beautiful soul and I hope she left this earth knowing and being around people who loved her.

what an immense talent. this lady was incredible. she really discovered D'Angelo and I dont know if she discovered this guy also but she was my introduction to Calvin Richardson. Now this is the bullshyt.....word is she didnt have the best financial situation because of being jerked on royalties. Family needs to sue. This woman was nothing but the damn truth. Eternal light to the sister!

This one hit me hard bc I actually knew her and her family just as a cat from the same town. I first met her at First Nazareth Baptist Church going to an event with my grandmother. Then i met her again randomly at the mall when she dropped a bag and i handed it back to her. I found out then i actually knew some of her family and she knew a few of my uncles. I then randomly ran into when i was living in VA at the time in Richmond (techically in Short Pump). I was like "at this point i'm gonna have to say you stalking me"! and i was suprised that she actually remembered me because it had been like 2yrs. We talked for about 15 mins and went our separate ways. After that we didn't really see each other as i was on my military stuff. And to think...I'm currently in Alabama and she died less than 30mi from where I stay.
