Woke up to this shyt. Damn. His roles as Thurgood Marshall and James Brown were top notch. A great actor gone. Cancer is a motherfukker.
Highly doubt marvel/disney didnt know. They have insurance on actors in case they get hurt and hold up production. Id imagine over 4 years they would have known if he was doing chemo etc

I agree. I had to look up when BP came out. I'll just say Disney cant and wouldn't disclose his medical records. Your last job can't tell your you new job about your medical issues. There is an acronym for it. Obviously your doctors know and employers know but it's not like random people like us would know

For some reason this was not as shocking just because when I saw him looking sick it looked like he may have cancer. I thought it may have been some stomach or intestinal issue and he’d pull through it though, reminds me of when I noticed Charlie Murphy and Satoru Iwata’s dramatic weight losses they looked a little pale like they were undergoing chemotherapy
Not insanely shocking like Kobe’s death but still very sad for someone in the prime of their life who has impacted so many people with their acting career.
