Brehs(especially those in their mid 20s early 30s) go get checked out. Two years ago I went to the gastro about my stomach issues, when they did the endo/colonoscopy they found precancerous polyps in my colon. Luckily they were Low grade/non threatening(only have to get checked every five years). But the fact that at 26 I had that shyt in me and wouldn't have known it if not for my illness I had at the time is scary.

actually thats not true

I had one at 35 because I went into a GI Doctor because my stomach was hurting(gastritis) and didnt have a movement for over 2 weeks

The risk of colon cancer for a healthy person under 50 with no stomach issues and family history is low.
brehs expand. What are "stomach issues"? How do I know the difference between a tummy ache because I been eating too much junk food and pain that means I need to go see a doctor?

Nothing cancerous(thankfully), but I had mild chronic Gastritis. That shyt gave me hell for over a year and half.

Having similar issues myself and my granddad died of colon cancer. They're recommending me to get checked out as well. I've been putting this off for a few months now, but I think I'm going to schedule that appointment soon.

if the pain/issues are persistent for one

*edit*

here is a list of some symptoms of colon cancer...
  • A persistent change in your bowel habits, including diarrhea or constipation or a change in the consistency of your stool
  • Rectal bleeding or blood in your stool
  • Persistent abdominal discomfort, such as cramps, gas or pain
  • A feeling that your bowel doesn't empty completely
  • Weakness or fatigue
  • Unexplained weight loss
