In the wrestling industry's defense, the predetermined aspect of the profession and the fact that scripts change on the fly makes it sort of impossible to have a legit journalist/reporter. Eh, independent podcasts have gotten interviews with major WWE and AEW talent actually, I follow quite a few of them. With that being said, outside of The Ringer and ESPN, none of those other wrestling shows are even getting interview's with the talent like that to even believe that they have some sort of backstage sources, which makes it hilarious that people even believe them to begin with.
