I don't know if they get enough subs for it it will get better over time. I think Tony should work on the talent he has right now instead of trying to sign more ex ex wwe guy. Maybe let someone else do the booking for ROH full time :hubie:

After the last few WWE rejects, I think he’s done signing them for a while

Impact hiring though

Tony (allegedly) said at one point or another that he preferred booking ROH since all he had to do was book matches without worrying about storylines. :manny:

I think you might be right, my marsupial breh.

:wow: Since Phil became a flop in the Dub the almighty Confusmarsupial never steers the TSC brehs wrong :wow:

Its crazy how folks that signed with IMPACT end up having a rejuvenating career. Maybe the fukking caveman should ask for them deavors and work with Scott :wow:

He should just book ROH and let someone else book AEW. :yeshrug:

I actually read all of that, and I more or less agree with what the Koala’s getting at

Personally I’d love to see multi-million dolla Punk return to help boost subs to Honor Club, and in the process make Warner Brothers go :ohhh: and either 1) put ROH on real tv, or 2) take on Honor Club as a whole and assimilate it onto their own streaming. I’m sure Tony would be fine with either conclusion:mjlol:

I do think Khan involved too much ROH in regular AEW programming, almost to AEW’s detriment, but we obviously get why. Had to sell the PPVs to help get the ball rolling again, but I also kinda sorta felt that he should’ve been re-established ROH TV, even if it had to start off on HC (or even YouTube). Use the AEW shows to try and drive traffic towards ROH’s show via commercials and other little shyt, but don’t intergrate whole ass angles and titles, present it as a separate brand from the jump

This man gets it :blessed:. Khan spent the entire time trying to get ROH on the mainstream, to the point of self sabotaging his own flagship show. Sadly, like most pointed out, the promotion needs a separate booker.

On the real, if I was Khan I would focus mainly on ROH and give somebody with actual booking skills to lead the way of AEW.

ROH itself is where Tony shines the most in:

  • The random matches were like a staple to the old ROH
  • The rank system was used back in the days, which Khan tried to bring to the Dub
  • The last three PPVs last year were dope (FTR/Briscoes III :wow:)
Bottom line, if AEW were to collapse ala Warner/Discovery bushing it, dude wouldn't lose a bit of sleep. Yet, if ROH were to fold or not work out...I'm convinced Tony will overdose off of a speedball:picard:

his resume wasn’t good enough to become a booker then?

Folks need to understand that a storyline takes a lot out of a person. Not everybody is built for the shyt. For instance, Paul Heyman is probably one of the best storyline creators known to man, but holy hell his booking skills were the shyts. Dude would pair up Mickey Whipwreck with friggin Pitbull 2, while Tommy Dreamer would beat the breaks off of Raven in the aisle because t*ts.

Yet, the backstory to Tommy Dreamer/Raven was profound wrestling angle 101.

Jim Cornette despite being a fukking racist mole, was a legit booker, but his storylines were kinda shyt.

Hell, lets say if the marsupial graduated from the armchair to the gorilla position, I would shine with the storyline but be complete wombat ass with creating a show (I'm the lazy b*stard that would throw random wrestlers together in Fire Pro Wrestling because t*ts.

Not anybody can write a script, along with anybody able to book a show:francis:
