Chris Hero, Drew Galloway, Sami Calihan, Jeff Cobb, etc there's plenty of names that don't have contracts that tie them down to one company. Plenty of free agents out there.

Edit: Not sure if Drew can work TV but he still does Evolve and PWG while working in TNA so it should be cool for him to show up and fight on an ROH ppv.

Would be nice if NJPW would take the chains off some of their guys and let them eat an L every once in a while. Plenty potential if they would, not even top guys but guys like Shibata, Ishii, Naito, Tanahashi challenging for the title would make things 10x fresher than what it is now.

Galloway wouldn't be able to work TV & Callihan & Cobb are both signed to Lucha Underground so they couldn't either.

ROH desperately needs to build people they already have signed. But they can't because their relying on NJPW (& soon CMLL) to help draw so they stack big cards with those guys instead of their own. I mean O'Reilly wasn't even on this PPV outside of his run in but we got a 6 man tag with all NJPW regulars just because.

I forgot the LU deal means they can't work TV but can still work PWG and other companies without TV deals.

Still though, better and more consistent challengers are out there and maybe the CMLL deal will have new faces going after the World Title.

ROH has lost so much talent these past few years, didn't bother signing Cedric either, they're fukking up. I didn't like the way Lethal's reign ended. Cole going toe to toe with him, I'm tired of these 50/50 matches between faces and heels. A heel who doesn't cheat to win in a match like that is going to have a rough time generating interest.
