does Rihanna actually completely own Fenty? if so that’s even more impressive. either way she’s killing it.

watch all these make up brands start making more shades for black women after excluding them for so long. pathetic
No way she just lends her face/ name to the brand.you should know this

If she signed a $10 million contract, she probably "owns" nothing (much like Puff n Ciroc) and is just the face and isn't seeing any "profits"

People forget you get nothing when you aren't the one actually owning the warehouses and material and distrubtion

I doubt she has the ability to manage all of that

Jay-Z got a salary, really. Made zero decisions to become the blace face of Russian billionaires moving into Brooklyn and displacing Americans from their homes.
You said something that was about 10% true and super dismissive. This is a loser's mentality. First off, very few people own the majority of anything. Second, Diddy gets a significant portion of all US Sales of Ciroc. His deal is like no one else's. That isn't some salary. The Jay Z statement is ridiculous. The dude designed the entire aesthetic of the team and has leveraged that into owning stakes in the arena and having all sorts of naming rights and preferential deals at Barclays. Moreover, he owns Ace of Spades completely. It started with owning a percentage. With Fenty doing this well, what do you think happens when it's time to renegotiate with Rihanna? You guys don't think longterm at all. The way you nitpick black celebrities is remarkable.

I read up on the product and they say its winning because its makeup that finally gets it right when dealing with shades for women of color. And there are more woman of color on the planet then there isn't. So, along with her name attached to it I'm not suprised its winning.

i went to sephora last weekend, one - when the fukk did little girls start wearing all this makeup? i'm not talking lip gloss, but full on cake face :dahell:, but two, her line was run the fukk through and still had a huge crowd all around it - pretty much everything except white/asian people color shades were completely sold out. :salute: rih, yall always trying to down her in TLR but the girl is a beast in and outside of music. her clothing lines and shoes sell like crazy too

I've been waiting for my Sephora to restock the Fenty foundation 440 and 430 for a month :mjcry:

I rarely wear makeup but my sister is the makeup queen. She got me hooked. It's a good matte buildable foundation that includes more shades for brown skin girls (of various shades). This is the 1st foundation I didn't have to mix to get the right color. -- Thanks Riri.

We've resorted to sharing the one bottle of 430 we could find :wow:

No, more power to 'em.

I just don't get into the "Black excellence" stuff anymore when they're main value is what they can do for big faceless conglomerate.

All let you slide on the "he designed the jerseys" :mjlol: like that is real power.

But, excuse if I know of too many legitimately black own makeup brands, sports apparel and liquor to celebrate them just because they are making more money.

You'll never see me "nitpick" with actually black owners. I'm gonna always cause a fuss because it's not enough to be signed to endorsement deals. Especially empowering something like Sean Combs when he's used people to stay relevant for 30 years, instead actually empowering others around him--empowering, not dancing in music videos and making them legal slaves (record contracts).

Diddy talk this do for self shyt. I've yet to see how promote another black owned brand like ya'll want me to do him.

I saw a document A while back that said LVMH and Rih both own 50% of the company so she’ll see half of all profits
