The people credited are for composers. They wouldn't credit people in that box just for being backup singers. Lol at Ray Charles backup singers getting publishing or composers credit. I guess the Temptations are composers on Super Freak too huh cuz Rick James had em singing backup for 10 seconds
If they wrote the lyrics to their own backup then they would get credit as composers, if someone else wrote it then they wouldn't.

So then why are you making it seem like there's people credited on this song for reasons other than writing?

The problem isn't that alot of people gave ideas for the song. If you're in the room and Kanye asks your opinion, and your idea gets used and you get credited, that's a good thing. The problem is all those people together put together a piece of crap song

What do you mean? I'm not making it seem like anything I clearly stated what I believed that they were credited for.
All of which is writing, either the beat, instruments or their parts of the song and Rihannas part.

And my point is that the number of people do not make songs betters or worse, if you have 4 people dropping vocals all of which writing their own lyrics we have 4 people.
If you have 3 people playing different instruments, we have 7. If we have someone overseeing and someone mixing, we have 9. It was also a normal amount of musicians for the task, except the fact that Kanye gives people creative freedom instead of controlling everyones parts and for example writing the background vocals.

If you just compare this track with other indie rock type tracks, this is just average at best. Love Ye and his creativity but he doesn't get a pass just for making different music. Hopefully the actual track comes with some production and a beat.

one more time before the thread is taken over.

Kendrick has (uses) Isley Brothers - can't respect it, too pop, he sold out. This is forced.

Kanye has (uses) Paul McCartney - The Beatles are legends, this has to be respected, this is SO soulful. This is so diverse.

On a hip hop forum.:scusthov:

shout out to OP though, true groupie.

"i" flopped, deal with it :mjlol:

mcartney played that simple ass keys on the first one and the simple ass guitar on this and ye thirsty ass gave him features...and t's not mcartney collaborating withing hip hop, it's ye trying to be something he's not, nothing about this record is hip hop

So they must be begging him to put vocals on this
