pop rihanna >>>>
aint one hit on this jawn

Reggae dancehall and soca Rihanna>>>>pop rihanna

Good Girl Gone Bad was a fukkin' pop classic.

Even the throwaway tracks, (i.e. Sell Me Candy) could have gone number one.

Can't get into her current stuff since R or whatever came after GGGB. It's been disposable sounds made for tweens who prefer their music low brow and low involvement (i can listen to Umbrella or SOS or Mr. DJ COme Give Me BJ song over and over... it's guilty but great popular music).

She has no direction or focus. Totally becoming a puppet on the string for the record label.

Shame cuz she's capable of SSSOOOO much more. The sex appeal, the voice, the marketability, the pizazz, the international admiration... what a waste.

.

:russ: why do y’all think she a slave to a label so much? She is an independent artist and left def Jam back in 2012

She owns her masters and is her own boss

She can release albums when she wants with the theme she wants

Rihanna got a formula that works, why would she even risk it. She is a business woman, I doubt she will experiment a lot, why fix something that aint broken

btw i made a mistake in my comment she left def jam in 2012....6 years ago
so is that why she going to make a reggae focused album? :dahell:

what do you consider a risk? people say she should stick to her roots which i agree with because it shows her true potential but when she does they say she knows her formula and wont risk it.

Album hasn’t aged well. Her past albums were so lukewarm that this was overhyped and to this day she believes her own hype of the album

some songs weren’t even mixed well
