Rigondeaux: I'll fight anyone at 126 as long as we have a rehydration clause of no more than 10lbs!!

Rigo is only 5'4 and can still make 118.

How is he gonna fight someone like a Nicholas Walters who is 5'7, with a 73'' reach and rehydrates 12+ lbs on fight night (makes 126 and blew up to 138 against Nonito Donaire) while Rigo is only 5'4, with a 68'' reach and his highest recorded rehydration is up to 128 against Robert Marroquin.?

It's too much of a size disadvantage for him:manny:

Hell, Gradovich's last fight he rehydrated from 126 to 140 overnight and Loma went from 126 to 138 overnight against GRJ. Rigo's too small to fight them for real and is only asking they weigh in at 136 max as far as rehydration.

Same thing Floyd asked Canelo:yeshrug:
Then he should shut the fukk up about moving up.

I didn't care for the canelo shyt either but he him come in at 152. He didn't tell him he couldn't hydrate.

High doesn't mean shyt in boxing

He did, but Canelo rejected it:

Canelo also said Mayweather tried to include a "rehydration clause" in the fight contract, where Canelo would be unable to weigh above a certain number on the day of the fight. Canelo, who rehydrates to more than 170-pounds on the day of the fight, rejected that clause.

"They came up with a second-day weigh-in. They wanted to do a second-day weigh-in and limit what I cold weigh the second day, and I wouldn't agree to that. And then they tried to force me to stay quiet and to not mention it, and that's why we didn't say anything. And we haven't said anything until now," Canelo said.

RiGOAT and his team is already on record saying they will not fight above 122. The only reason they are mentioning Featherweight, is because they keep being asked about it. The only way they will fight someone over 122 is if they agree to not weigh higher than 136lbs on fight night:manny:

Walters came in at 138 against Donaire, Loma came in at 138 against GRJ, and Gradovich came in at 140 against Velez.

The most Rigo has ever weighed in at is 128. All those 3 above come in as Junior Welterweights on fight night while Rigo is only a Featherweight:to:

those rehydration weights aren't exactly setting off alarms bruh lol..15-20 lbs over your contracted weight limit makes me go :patrice:...more than 20 lbs rehydrated and you need to move your ass up

Oh no....they are fine. It's just that RIGO's the small one:russ:

He cant fight them unless they agree to not come in more than 136 or he runs the risk of not only being shorter+ having shorter reach + but also being outweighed by at least 10lbs by a skilled Featherweight and getting destroyed in there:wow:

It's a no-win proposition for him unless 1 of them agrees to it, which is why he doesnt really call them out...only 122lbers:yeshrug:

say what you want about asian fighters..like @Mook said they have been pulling classic/great/ good fights out of fighters in recent years...one of them is due to score another big upset win soon enough like when ishida ko'ed kirkland in 1..their fighting spirit is no joke
