that's the standard release window these days.Jesus, thats in like 3 months lmao
lmao that shyt is getting pulled from theaters in lik 3 weeksthat's the standard release window these days.
but to have it leak BEFORE your movie comes out its like telling us "stay home muthafukkas"
usually the date gets announced a month to a month and a half after theatrical release
I saw it and fell asleep.Theater was empty as fukk . Movie was dry. I was under the influence and really only wanted to see the effects. Movie started at 9, finished at 12 but i took my 1st nap 30 mins in. Cant say I remember much about the film. I watched the movie like it was a in living color over the top skit. I know thebrehs on here was against seeing it and so was I but I went against my better judgement and I told myself I'd only view to see how much they'll try to change history. Better for me in a way so I dont forget the evil intentions of mankind. Only positive about the movie was the3d effects and I felt they over did it.
Exodus: Gods and Kings
Total Lifetime Grosses
Budget: 140 Million
Domestic: $24,500,000 33.0%
+ Foreign: $49,800,000 67.0%
= Worldwide: $74,300,000
Wow, this is a huge bomb. They won't break even after you factor in promotion/ads, theater percentage and the fact studios don't get 100% of overseas profits.

Geezus, The Hobbit 2 is going to DESTROY this film this coming weekendYeah that is true. I was kind of annoyed that it opened at number 1, but apparently it really didn't have anything to compete with. But those numbers are going to drop drastically next week and the week after.

Yup, it's a weak #1. Hunger Games will top it next week, Exodus will probably drop 65%. And unlike a lot of other big budget domestic films that bomb in the US but do well overseas, that won't happen here because the cast is so damn white whereas audiences expect color (if not black, Arab).
The funny thing is that Hollywood seems to be learning diversity=money but this movie is stuck in the past. Fast and Furious got blacks, Hispanics, whites, Asians...and everyone goes to see them. I'd be fine with Moses being white even if the Egyptians were mixed/Arab/black/etc. But they couldn't even do that lol.
cast blacks as thieves and servants brehs...
Yeah he just went too far with itNot saying I'd agree with it. But if Ramses was black and the rest of the Egyptians were too, I really don't think there would be a backlash to this film. Instead the entire main cast is white.
