Breh, it's cus cable TV is dead dead dead. None of these media companies are invested in their cable TV schedules no more. All their realt shyt is premiering and playing on paramount plus or whatever they on.

All channels do this now. Comedy Central plays The Office and South Park marathons every single day. TBS plays American Dad, Big Bang Theory, and Friends for hours on end. Cartoon Network is all Amazing World of Gumball and Teen Titans Go. No longer this 24 hour showcase of both new and classic animation libraries like when I was a kid. I can name at least three cable channels that play nothing but Law and Order and CSI reruns all day every day.

This is the new business model of what's left of cable television. Just pick a popular syndicated show that's practically background noise and put it on loop until 8pm. You might as well just get a streaming service and play it out yourself.

I only keep my cable tv service for news, sports, and when I have guests over...plus im a 90s head and actually prefer traditiobal television to streaming (I wish these streaming platforms had a feature to emulate a cable tv-like experience). but I don't see me doing this for long. Once CNN, MSNBC, ESPN and national games can be watched live from streaming services, I'm bushing cable all the way.

I have Fios. At night they play classic shows like Fresh Prince and Jamie Foxx on MTV2. When I go over to see what MTV has on, it's the same show

It wasn't like this when I was younger. One of many signs I'm growing into my :flabbynsick: era

Breh the moment I became self aware that it's 2019 and I'm still watching cable tv, confused as hell why all the channels suck all of a sudden, that's when I realized I'm :flabbynsick: .

I remember when Netflix first started as a mail in DVD service and I said I'll stick with Blockbuster. Then it went online and I said that's a cool gimmick but i ain't paying extra for shyt. I'll stick to just my cable box. Then came Stranger Things and it was a wrap right there. All that hype is what convinced me to give in to Netflix but it was still years of me not realizing cable tv channels is completely dead. Once Disney+ was announced that was it.

It's really good background noise and they put a lot of baddies on that show. Only downside is Chanel's laugh.

That's how I found out about Madison Beer.

the better question is why is it STILL called Mtv....they play absolutely positively NO music
Facts.

I watch MTV classic just because they play nothing but videos. They play shyt all the way back from the 70s.

They need to call their "main" channel ANMTV *Almost No Music Television*
