If you’re serious about this year you can’t go into next week with Riddler as the starter. If we tanking for Caleb then keep him in.

It’s clear QB is the biggest issue for this team. The defense does enough every week to have you in the game. Offense can’t produce any damn points

This is the big test for Arthur Smith as a coach. The season is salvageable, pull the plug now and get some competence at the QB position.

I think his scheme is still ass and he prob needs to go but he can buy himself time here.

Bro he ain’t benchin Ridder. He said it at halftime and I doubt he pulls the plug moving forward. Him and Terry banked on Ridder goin into this season, if they bench Ridder, the pressure is gonna turn up on him and he might be out of a job after this season.

I agree, Blank ain’t getting no younger, he don’t have forever for fat boy to figure out how to run an offense in 2023 with an untalented qb.

QB play this year has been on par with the Joey Harrington, Byron Leftwich, Chris Redmon, Matt Schaub days. At least back then we weren’t wasting a good defense and run game away :jbhmm:

shyt at least we saw a young receiver (Roddy White) come into his own under that rotation of QBs. Only bright spot on offense has been Bijan

True and we would see Drake London come into his own like Roddy but bum ass Smith and Ridder is too busy giving him 3/40 on five targets stat lines and shyt

What sucks is that outside of Bijan we don’t have any explosive playmakers on offense. Pitts should be that but he’s not playing like it (maybe he’s still not 100% coming back from the knee injury). Drake isn’t an explosive guy either so it’s not like there are a lot of the type of playmakers you need for a young QB either to help him out.

That is true. Guys like Hollins, London and Pitts are more vertical and jump ball threats. We have nobody that can take the top off of a defense. Scotty is fast but not that type of player. I’m not confident Ridder could hit those types regardless though. Bijan is that at RB so he’ll make an impact but his impact can be neutralized or mitigated as we saw yesterday. He had an efficient, big game but our offense was ass overall.
