Rick Ross - God Forgives, I Don't Vs Nas - Life Is Good

Nas' album was better for me off first listen and I think ill play it for a while. Not sure about God Forgives, though I am still listening to Rich Forever.

Nas is arguably the greatest of all time so of course there are gonna be somethings that Ross ain't gonna be able to compete with between the two. Im not even arguing which is better because like i said they compliment eachother well. All im saying is stop trying to write off an album that you haven't even given a chance to sink in yet. IMO Ross just crossed over into the upper echelon of rappers, u owe him more respect than ur giving him in this thread.

What makes this Ross album any better than Deeper than Rap and Telfon Don?

He is talking about the same exact subject matter. The production is cool but not enough to make his lyrics anything special. No standout verses or nothing..

I get something new each time I listen to Nas's album. Its relevant cause he is talking about his real life and his real perspective.

Rick Ross always seems like he talking in 3rd person about a fictional character thats selling dope and flying overseas with models and sh!t :aicomon:

LIG is a good album, but its not what everyones making it out to be.. same for GFID.. their both, just good albums..

Comparing and contrasting songs, albums, singles, and actual MC'in is a thing in the past. Why you think Kool Moe Dee shytted on Busy Bee? Because he felt he wasn't really spitting and he had to show fans. It happens with artist all the way down to the consumer.

Like I said..I think each album has its purpose and I didn't feel the need to compare them either fam..I honestly feel they are different as hell...we may have to agree to disagree on the Nas is only a good rapper thing tho..lol..and albums got.compared ALL the time in the past..lol

Nas' album has bland basic sleep inducing beats,nearly excellent lyrically
Ross has very dope beats,dope flow,two repetitive songs though.
These two should compliment each other very well.
As for gfid vs lig ,who gives a shyt.we blessed to have these two dope ass albums.just enjoy
