If pitino is going to be fired and it's connected to this scandal, then it would in fact offer admission that he was somehow apart of it, otherwise why is he being fired?

I believe the NCAA calls it 'lack of institutional control'. Pitino either knew about it and should be fired or didn't know about it but should have and he still should be fired. He can't keep his job... especially since he was on thin ice already

Whatever it takes to make the ACC more easier for my Yellow Jackets

UNC shoulda been got the hammer.
For some reason I think Duke & Coach K runs a clean program
Nah. K just can leverage other things that others can’t (relationships with USA basketball, getting folks to the pros, Duke education, etc)

So if that is the case, why those particular coaches get paraded around after being arrested but pitino and his asst. Seems to just be getting fired?

I admit, I don't know everything about this case, but it's very difficult to believe the things I have read took place and those head coaches had no knowledge or no involvement whatsoever. It's kind of asinine to suggest that actually. In the hood if a drive by takes place, every party in that vehicle goes to jail for being accessories. Whether they were directly involved or not, you were involved in a situation that turned bad. So they take them all to jail. How is that not applicable here? Again I don't know everything about the case, so tell me how that is so.
I honestly think Pitino didn't know the extent of THIS situation because he wasn't even actively recruiting the kid. Even the agent involved said we don't mess with head coaches because they make too much money and it's too risky. But, just like the stripper thing, it's his job to know. A university can't keep putting its reputation on the line and the only answer you have is "I had no idea this was happening".

At the same time, they're all complicit. The president, AD, etc. They do pay Pitino millions of dollars but it's more for winning games and packing the house, not making sure his program is clean. If anything they pay him not to get caught doing anything, which he obviously couldn't do.
