Roiland hasnt written anything since Season 1.He did do a lot of improv but thats all after Season 1.

Harmon has always been the one with the juice in the industry out of the two. Hes not letting it go. Especially with the sucess and audience it has.

Rick and Morty has a team of writers serving as a vehicle for Roiland/Harmons vision for the series.

They not only understand the formula of the show after 6 seasons, they had more to do with what its become than Roiland or Harmon.

As far as the voice goes, its well established down to the speech patterns. Its become one of those pop culture things where virtually everyone who's a fan has a Rick or Morty. There's plenty of professional voice actors or impressionists who can do it.

Roiland said in a Vanity Fair video that even Harmon does a solid, convincing version.

Roiland is going down. The ship isnt.

Rick is in his Heaven and all is right in the world.

It’s really the fan base that ruins it because they act like the writing is better and deeper than it actually is.

Actually the show was at its best when Roiland was more involved. High on life proves that tbh.

Improv was what was done best in rick & Morty. When it started becoming over written it lost something.

I think the show wont be the same. No more intergalactic cable type energy, but it started losing that on its own

I knew him getting fired was the worst-case scenario, and Adult Swim wasn't going to let anything get in the way of completing the 70-episode deal, but damn. I'm still shocked.

Since they started writing season seven two years ago, did Justin already do voice work for it? Because season seven is supposed to come out this year. I'm assuming they're going to have someone come in and re-record all of Rick and Morty's lines because they're starting work on season nine this year. There's no way they can be that far ahead without having Justin record something for season seven.
