How do you think corporations strived?
Corporations strived because of what was presented as Socialism.
Government taking control of sectors of the market and then when it's time to vote they auction off those votes to the highest bidder.
That's why small govt. is important.

Obama and Bush were both corporatists, those corps you hate were both Bush and Obama's biggest donors.

Then regulation came about and who did Obama but at the helm of these regulatory bodies?
Chase Bank, Monsanto, Goldman Sacchs..... WAKE UP!

Even bailed out these dudes and none of them in jail.
Liberals talk about taking money out of politics, you can't do that!
But you can take politics out of money!

No point, if you truly believe corporatism and capitalism to be one and the same, then there is nothing to discuss.
lmao @ dis dude trying to conflate and exchange theory with actuality whenever it suits his desired strawman:zfg:

The two being different is theory? :stopitslime: A straw man?:stopitslime:

Like I said, no point in discussing it until we are willing to accurately define these terms.

I disagree on why Corporations strived. They never presented themselves as socialist. They presented themselves as the power structure of the governments it works for. Speaking of corporations....the U.S. is a corporation.

Good Video. Props.

A good point he brought up is the lack of representation for Employees in decision making. Just as a question, do you think employees should be able to elect at least a certain percentage of board members?

Democracy at the workplace? ::whew:

That's what Socialism is in its most essential definition. You can't use that word without a lot of idiots going nuts, though.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supervisory_board

German corporation law, the Aktiengesetz, requires all public companies (Aktiengesellschaften) to have two boards: a management board called a Vorstand and a supervisory board called an Aufsichtsrat.

In Germany the supervisory board of large corporations is composed of 20 members, 10 of which are elected by the shareholders, the other 10 being employee representatives. The supervisory board oversees and appoints the members of the management board and must approve major business decisions.
