Ric Flair has to be the biggest example of a broken pedestal in the history of pro wrestling. So many of his peers from the his generation, the generation before him, and the next three after him have him as the all time GOAT, yet even his longest friends don't want anything to do with him and everyone in the industry dunks on him for being an embarrassing lush.
