It's pathetic how a legend like Ric Flair is going out.
When you think about it, this is usually how it happens, right?
In the last few years, we've seen some of the biggest stars in the industry destroy their legacy. Either through their personal views, or their inability to stay away and realize nobody wants them around anymore. It's a rite of passage for a wrestler to become an embarrassment the older they get.
Hogan, Flair, Undertaker, Jericho. Obviously not a big star, but Dreamer as well. All these wrestlers have one thing in common: They've made jokes of themselves in the mid-2010s and beyond. Probably more that I can name like Booker T, or Sunny.
I don't know the exact reason, but this is what the industry does to you. It fukks you up. I want to say it's going to stop with the younger generation of wrestlers, but you still have people like Tessa Blanchard running around.
