Tommy Dreamer is management in a company about to run an all women's show and he's on TV blabbing about "Well Ric was just playing, she just got offended, everyone gets offended, people are offended about my hair" when the woman in question was cornered and forced to touch Ric's penis and then goes on to get pretty close to victim blaming her.

Went over this in the main DSOTR thread. Coach got this case mixed up with a completely different case that he testified in (the Plane Ride from Hell suit was settled within a month of its filing for what should be obvious reasons), which is why he deleted that tweet. As for Vince, there are conflicting accounts regarding whether he was there or not. What we have of the lawsuit filing doesn't name him and Meltzer's reporting on the Plane Ride from Hell in 2002 says he wasn't there and he got conflicting accounts when he revisited it post episode (he found those saying he wasn't there more trustworthy, and said that there were other flights like this that Vince definitely was on during that period that people may be conflating this with). However, Chioda and JR put him there in the doc, and JR had also said Vince was on the plane in his second book. I don't think JR would lie about something like that, and DSOTR felt confident enough in the claim to put it in the doc.

Either way, Vince needs to take responsibility for enabling Flair's bullshyt, and it's not as if I believe he'd be a disciplinarian over any of this in any event.

And wrestling fans should take responsibility as well for going along with his antics and cheering him all these years in spite of it. It’s not all on Vince. The stances about this situation are hilarious and hypocritical when all of this information has been open knowledge over the years, yet people still hyped Ric up and his antics.
