I don’t expect many of you brehs to be former or current Hot Topic shoppers, but indulge me…
Back in the late 90s and 00s it had a cooler, darker goth edge to it. Lower lighting, the products they sold reflected that.
Some years back, Hot Topic changed the logo, revamped stores, added brighter lighting, started selling more mainstream leaning items…including the WWE and AEW shirts they sell now.
The quote above immediately reminded me of that. NXT about to lose just about whatever edge or identity they had that separated them from the main shows
