Many - especially the younger generation - are not aware of his racist past. Even worse, many who do know give him a "pass" because they don't want to stop liking him.

Those songs were not him trying to be "down"; he was using the N word in a targeted racist manner.

I say this only to counter those who think it's okay for non-Blacks to use the N word if they pronounce it with an "a" sound and not the "hard er" sound.
