Rhiannas lack of coordination when dancing will prevent her from being a goat.

Lol...ok. I can't talk music with y'all nikkas who swear you know shyt but don't listen to anything outside of urban or black artists....

Put it this way, if Madonna died today, the world would acknowledge it the way they did Michael. Madonna is a GOAT, no amount of "music for white people" retorts changes that.
thats pretty obvious :mjpls:

I mean when we're discussing pop stars, it's not really about talent. Sometimes you get the whole package - gaga (writes, composes, can sing, and is an entertainer) - the semi whole package - beyonce - just the singer - Mariah and Whitney - or just the star - rihanna. All these women, along with folks like Janet and Madonna, are GOATs. that's why I evaluate people like them on more than just singing, dancing, writing because it takes more than just talent to be that big. If this thread was about jazmin Sullivan, I'd be thinking about GOAT singers, but because it's about rih, I'm thinking about GOAT pop stars which encompasses the talented to the "non-talented".

I get that.

My issue with pop stars is my opinion that pop stars are chosen, for reasons outside of their talent, to get the support required to make them a pop star.

And that process usually entails a bunch of grimy shyt done to other (more talented) folks in order to create and maintain this pop star image.

I'm not taking anything away from pop stars though.

Even though they may be propped up by powers unseen, I understand the amount of work and sacrifice it takes to uphold that image and status.

That's why I respect your opinion, even though we may disagree.
