UT Head Coach Mack Brown tried but the UT boosters put fire and pressure on him to let Vince play his style of ball. The GM with Tenn. Titans at the time of the 2006 draft, Norm Chow, didn't want Vince either but, the owner, Bud Adams saw Steve McNair in Vince and drafted him anyway.
