The difference is in minorities vs majority.. It has nothing to do with superiority..
If a female ever becomes president or a head coach in the NFL, other women will root for her just because she's a female..
If an openly gay athlete comes out of the closet, other gays would root for him just because he's gay..
White fans want Eminem to win rap battles because in this case HE is the minority...

Look at these posts and you see how racial it is. Maybe you are not thinking like that, but most people in this debate are just riding for either because of they have the same skin tone as them.
Because if it's all about minority, why no one rooting hardcore for Weeden. There's never been a guy his age drafted in the first round and pegged to start, he is the ultimate minority here. Or where is the overwhelming supprt for Ron Rivera for being one of the few Spanish head coaches in the NFL's history.

You say that, but a Black QB hasn't won a Super Bowl since the 80's.. 1988 to be exact...That's almost 25 years...
8 of the last 10 league MVP awards have been given to white QB's....
Let's not pretend that there is no disparity in the position and how it is promoted and covered...The NFL has just accepted it as status quo...
Imagine if a Black point guard hadn't won an NBA Finals in 25 years...

Yep, some people are just better at other positions.
Black people are better WR's, RB's, DB's, LB's, etc etc, damn near every position.
