6 soungs out of what? 14 or something? it's a horrible albumYeah, I think most of us were rightly disappointed when it first released, especially when you consider how good his first three albums were, but I recently realized that the album has a decent number of songs that I still play from time to time:
Never Enough
Yellow Brick Road
Like Toy Soldiers
Spend Some Time
Mockingbird
Ricky Ticky Toc
The rest was trash for the most part (Big Weenie alone probably disqualifies him from any top 5 discussions), but six songs that have managed to stand the test of time isn't bad.
Yea,
based on the tracks that leaked early,
the album was heading in the right direction..
Once the leaks came out it's like he said fukk it
and bullshytted through all the new recordings..
What songs were the leaks, Wasnt online like that when this album came out
only a few tracks...We As Americans, Love U More, and Bully
The only reason Rain Man works is that he acknowledges he's applying absolutely no thought to his lyrics.
The rest of the album is depressing. The day I bought it, as soon as I heard Evil Deeds and felt nothing inside. I realised I'd purchased a coaster. Such a underwhelming opener for an Eminem album.
You can tell he was surrounded by yes men. And the drugs had stop working in a positive way.
i heard he started doing the album then got told by Jimmy that he needed to change the tone of the album. he was fukked up on drugs & just wanted to get it out of the way so he went to Florida & knocked it out in like 2 weeksYea,
