Revisiting a slept-on album: MJG - No More Glory

forgive me if I posted this before but I was working at record store when this came out and I was the hip hop buyer and I ordered a bunch of these, cant remember how many but couldve been at least 40 which was huge for a small indy store.

it was on front display when you walked in. you wouldnt believe the amount of cacs that came in with uproar about the flag and told management to take the shyt off the shelves, even as far as to threaten to not shop there anymore. this is in NC btw. thats when I realized, shyt was more regional than I thought. I think we sold two of them shyts and had to return the rest.

Aside from less than a handful of tracks, this album was kinda a dissapointment.


Copped it off the strengh of seeing this on Rap City nearly every day around its release.







I stole my copy from costco back in the day when they used to put cds in cardboard protectors.




Surprised they even had this there but i wasn't complaining.



Sophmore year of highschool was great.

Solid album overall, but the six song run in the beginning is crazy. Album kind of looses steam in the middle then picks back up by "What Is This"

then if he don't clear u can always do what dj quik did... replay it with live instruments
