Anyone see this shyt yet? I won't be checking for in in theatre mainly because my ass will fall asleep sitting there for 165 mins. For those that were able to make it, let The Coli brehs know what you thought and rate it so some of us don't waste our money on what looks like the same movie all over again.

So far mine goes: Transformers > Dark of the Moon > Revenge of the Fallen

Just left the theatre. The movie was meh overall. The casting kind of sucked to me. There are a couple nice scenes but it's was just long for no reason.

Cheesy one liners galore! Mark Wahlberg sucked.

shyt was the usual bs. I think I'm just burnt out brehs. I'll give quick points on why I didn't like this one.
. Too long. At almost 3 hours it felt like an endurance test watching this shyt.
. No original action. Alot of the action seemed redone from the other movies. Some scenes looked like they were replays of something I saw 20 minutes ago.
. Fireworks. Man The explosions looked fake as shyt. It might have taken me this long to realize this. It looks like someone lit up a fireworks store.
I could go on but I'm not going to bring up the usual about story and plot because we don't go to see that. I do have to say though the villians in this one were the best so far.

I really feel like the human dynamic is a studio mandate. If he could do a movie composed entirely of special effects and animated characters, that would be a spectacle

The human dynamic can work but not with such bad writing and direction. And Bay films every little scene like its a commercial or music video. He has got to go.

I'm saying for this director the human element isn't needed. Aside from Pain and Gain, character isn't his strength and you could say that the characters in Pain and Gain were so larger than life that you wouldn't believe them to be real people if it wasn't based on a true story. A movie like this, writers go hand in hand with the directors in developing story and characters so if anything it would need a new director to shift direction not just a new writer. That writer unless he is Aaron Sorkin or David Mammet or David Koepp, is going to bend to the will of Bay and do what he wants

For this kind of Bay movie I don't worry about human interaction because I know it's going to be bs. The action is turning bad though and that's what I come to see. shyt was going on and I got bored.

shyt was :camby:

You're gonna hear alot about the humor and the acting and what not, but even just the CGI, Explosions, Explosions....and Explosions, we've been beat over the head with it already. Watching this Im sitting here genuinely thinking, "I'm bored of Transformers already...: It's the same movie as the prior 3. The Dino Bots were cool, but overall...:manny:

I enjoyed Godzilla and X-Men a hell of a lot more. I'm not gonna even sh*t on Michael Bay because this is what you come to expect. But I think it's time to dead Transformers (which of course they're not) and maybe make a movie (not from Michael Bay) that a lot of us have been waiting for...

Surprisingly, I was not impressed with the dinobots. But the fights were good IMO. You could tell exactly what was going on which was a huge plus for me
