also creative uses of lmj and ginn in run game.

defense is a bit concerning, pass rush and rogers were the main reason we were so good on it last year

I think the D will take a bit of a step back and the O will take a step forward. But yea, like others have said, we're not going to sneak up on people like last year. We also caught a bunch of breaks that we might not this year.

Regardless, should be an interesting season.

49er fans enjoy. The unreliably of your quarterback and his terrible decisions making ability and high school level pocket composure will cripple you in your hunt to get back to the playoffs. Last season was an outright fluke and you know it. For the Niners to get back to being respectable you must release Alex Smith. That player is a cancer to your team. Only 49ers fans will try to spin this into some type of positive. Take the rose colored glasses off this team is overrated. Your defense is no longer looking elite like it once was now that Singletary is gone. The team that Singletary built is the reason they made the playoffs and this team is nothing like last season.

its the preseason. the team is still good. they arent as good as last years record indicates, but they are good enough to compete in a stacked NFC. it will be harder this year, but preseason is hardly indication of anything to come.

ESPECIALLY since harbaugh never wants anyone to know the specifics and keeps everything under wraps.
