Redskins would def be a tougher match up for our run D for the simple fact on how they run the read option off their zone blocking like if our front is flowing one direction RG3 can kill us backside against Aldon or Ahmad ..Sea actually killed us last week doing that if our front cant string out to free up PWill or Navarro to make tackles they will gash us .. that's why having a semi effective Justin is crucial... I def want GB and ATL

How about a round of applause for Kaep and Harbaugh.

I gotta say the one thing impresses me most about Kaep as a young QB, the ability to avoid the turnover. Smart decisions, accurate throws and all around ability to protect the football.

That's all Harbaugh baby, it's like we replaced Alex with Alex 2.0, just had to hit the update button on the appstore. Got some new features, some nice bells and whistles and all the stuff we loved about the original.

its time we stop comparing kaep to alex and just evaluate him for what he is.

both excusing his bad plays because "alex wouldnt be able to make other throws and hes a 8 year vet, not a second year player" and crapping on his decent plays because "theres too much risk, what happened if alex was here" (although at this point I dont think many are doing the latter :heh:)

I couldn't see this game on the east coast but based on the highlights, Kap is growing very quickly, Crabs looked like a #1 , now granted it was against the Card but I think he needed that and I think he can take the next step next year. I feel better with going to the playoffs moving forward and the 1st round bye, will allow us to rest and heal up.

I wasn't trying to compare really, just trying to point out Harbaugh's coaching.

It's incredible how he instills that protect the ball mindset into a 2nd year player with a cannon arm and great speed.

I think there was a general feeling that with Kaep in we were gonna be this dynamic offense slinging the ball, but it's been pretty interesting to see the offense has stayed practically the same.

I feel like Harbs got a joystick on the sideline with these QB's.

I think he can be, Alex played tremendous vs. New Orleans, but the Giants was just a good performance.

I think being at home for the first game is important. I also think we have to understand these games can't be all on Kaep, we need more from other pieces. Can't expext a first year starter to be the main reason you won a playoff game.

The defense needs to show us more. One thing I do feel very good about, Crabs peaking at the right time people are gonna key on him and this will allow Vernon to open up a bit.

Also, LMJ seems to be really getting into the flow of the game, the x-factor he provides might pay in soon.

Once again, I truly don't feel really confident about any part of this team, there is still too much uncertainty, but the playoffs a whole other ball game. That coming out flar shyt, can't see that happening to us with last year still fresh on our minds.

We have the talent to make a run, but I think this January is strictly on the coaches shoulders. We can't have the goofy Roman show up and Fangio needs to find a way to craft this defense with an injured Cowboy or maybe even no Cowboy.

Either fukking way, I love the feeling of this bye week. I seen so many seasons of bullshyt it feels so good for it to be NYE and I can celebrate us being alive with a week off.

one and done for this team:lolbron:

Nah, can't happen that way, If anything we have to win one more then lose in the championship game to keep with our rule of only lose/tie every 3rd game haha

But honestly, if we get to the championship game i`m gonna feel so supersticious about that game, because ever since the Giants game I noticed this rule of 3 shyt.

Tremendous is not a word I'd use to describe his play in NO. Giants game was a good performance? :what:

Anyways, it's good that we're going to slowly stop talking about Alex. Next year Tolzien will join the debate.

Im speaking in general. I know people will continue to compare but imo we need to move on.

and I know its unfair to compare kaep to rgIII or wilson or anything like that, but if you want to be great...you gotta make all or most of the plays, no matter what year youre in and all.

thats why I never bought into the whole alex and different coordinators shyt. either you have the ability or you dont, and even in offensive turnaround you can showcase your talents. norv and harbroman knew how to get the most out of alex but at the end of the day he was limited because of his skillset

so if kaep starts to struggles theres no point in comparing him to alex and wanting alex back...but also no point in making excuses for kaep
