Democratic Republic of Congo involved with President Kabila too.
This is only part one. Part two coming later today.
The ICC is performative. Not sure why y’all expect the US or any world power to actually care what they do.
It goes against a nation’s fundamental autonomy and they aren’t very successful.
In 22 years they’ve only managed 10 convictions and have had no sway on human rights abuses.
Further, both the US and Israel have said from jump they have no obligations to its oversight. Hence, why I’ve stressed numerous times it’s performative and meaningless here.
Dark fact, Sudan doesn’t recognize them either .
But somehow TikTok has convinced folks they’re going to do something of value here.
It’s looking more and more like the US is Israel’s bytchThat's insane. And the US isn't saying anything about it? Europe isn't anything about it? The West isn't saying anything about it? The UN isn't saying anything about it?
shyt like this is how #BothSides has any legitimacy.

Look. We’ve done this before. If Israel didn't care about the ICC, explain why the Mossad chief is sneaking into the hotel room of the chief prosecutor and coordinating with the President of DRC.
If the US didn't care, why would they cheer it when it got arrest warrants for Putin and now we have Congress mobilizing to sanction the ICC cause Israeli leaders are about to be subject to arrests?
This is all on reputational damage which apparently sort of matters in international relations.
Its true. But this is Israel we are talking about, they can have resolutions, figureheads be put on the ICC, and they'll still do what they do. International law doesn't mean a damn thing.
Two things can be true at the same time!Look. We’ve done this before.
We’ve discussed South Africa leaving the ICC after refusing arrests Al-Bashir then rejoining.
We’ve discussed the US closing the PLO office under Bolton.
We’ve discussed the provision that required the US to close that office because the US felt going to the ICC would harm rather than help negotiations for a two state solution under Obama.
No one is threatened by them because they have spies doing spy shyt.
Ultimately, I’ll leave you with your own words though.
Yea, Israeli can follow people hoping to discredit an organization they hate without being afraid of it.Two things can be true at the same time!
Yeah, what the fukk does any of this have to do with Israeli spies trying to blackmail prosecutors? The ICC is performative. Not sure why y’all expect the US or any world power to actually care what they do.
