Retro rap battle review: Murda Mook vs. Serius Jones (Who won?)

Me and my Ring Gang Radio bros (@LauderdaleBoss @patscorpio @Conscious Pilot) been doing a lot of music reviews on our cast. We decided to do something different this time though. Instead of an album review, we decided to do a battle rap review. We took an old/classic battle, and we decided to watch it and review it and determine who we thought won. Jones/Mook is one of my favorites, so I thought we'd kick it off with that one since there still to this day is an argument over who really won that. Lemme know what y'all thoughts on the battle. And give us some suggestions on battles we should review in the future. I always said Jones just because I always hated Mook and thought he was super overrated and regular up until like maybe 3 years ago.. Mook won, clear imo…people will say Jones tho just because Mook has an entourage and because Mook got more reaction…people are weirdos most of the time and just like going against the grain for no real reason ...plus nigs hate Mook.

Mook got the hardest closing bar/bars in the history of battle rap in this battle, shyt still crazy

Said that back then and I said that on the live stream podcast.

Mook only won the 1st rd to me and even that round was close. Jones prolly aint warm up yet, but after that it was a wash.

Mook's 2nd rd was also the worst rd of the whole battle. shyt was terrible. Even the hype men couldn't save it.

Jones was better. Mook is a legend but his entourage reactions was over the top and finishing his lines and shyt. That’s was wack.

Facts.

If it wasn't a battle and we just got to hear random verses from both, Mook would prolly sound better, but in a battle most of his lines came off too generalized and didn't go at Jones enough.
