I still like Cartoon Network. Just not what it used to be. BUT lol as always I get the shyt isn’t for me anymore. Completely get it. Gotta appeal to the kiddies and keep them entertained. And what entertained me as a kid may not work for them. Also no kids network should be trying to appeal to 32 year old men
That’s true but Boomerang was intended to appeal to the older crowd :yeshrug: now it just reruns the same episodes of Teen Titans Go and recently cancelled CN shows. It’s been turned into Cartoon Network’s recycling bin. I literally bought my kids a Looney Tunes classics DVD a few years back because they didn’t know who Bugs Bunny was :flabbynsick:

Yeah the boomerang thing is weird. It’s basically Cartoon Network lite now and sincs it’s a subscription service, it should still be aiming at adults. Although the fact is, they have Tazmania and Tom and Jerry kids on there so :blessed:

that's what the cartoon network was built on initially.

shows that my pops always talked about watching when he was a kid. then in comes the cartoon network in the mid-90s with a whole station of '60s-'70s cartoons. I always heard stories about "banana split" and all that chit.

I think that's the intended process.

when cartoon network became more about original programming, they put their old format on the boomerang channel. and I guess now that younger cartoon network shows are old, theyre dumping them on boomerang now.

maybe they'll make another channel for the OGs.

Yeah it was built on that cause that’s all they owned too. But they always wanted original programming. What a cartoon started early and it took off from there.
