It’s like my childhood is slowly being wiped away with each passing year and with our legends leaving us. I know it sounds selfish as hell and I’m grateful and blessed to have been there to witness his God given talent. 1998 was one of my best years just in general.

Mine too. 1998 was a whole paradigm changer where I had to leave my comfort zone and see what the world really is. Being outdoors in 1998 was essential for growth.

X introduced spiritualism to hardcore thugs in the East Coast, like what Pac did to the West. X made it cool to be authentic and down to earth when rappers were too concerened about flossing out.

The rap game lost a legend today with the passing of X. He was loved by many and his lost will be felt for a long time. RIP to Earl Simmons and hopefully he can now rest peacefully.

Read something about DMX saying that his mother beat him with a broom and it knocked two of his teeth out because he accidently opened up his moms notebook and erased something.. That abuse was no joke
