i remember when i was coming up, my aunt & grandmom(they got me into wrestling) used to nonchalantly say "hes dead" or "shes dead" whenever they saw a deceased person on television.

i was told that the warrior was dead back in '95.(not counting the schoolyard rumors back in '91-92).

I think his appearance at Wrsstlemania 8 is what added to the dead rumors because he had shorter hair and had lost a considerable amount of muscle mass

as funny as the sweep looks on paper in hindsight, it was believable back then.

I never believed the Warrior was dead, but I was absolutely positive that the Warrior was not the same person... at least not at WrestleMania 8.
