I have always thought he really was crazy and those comments don't surprise me. But for all we know he may have regretted saying those comments or atleast wanted to change his life around and make up to all the people he had issues with. This also doesn't change the fact that he was known and will be remembered. For his work as a wrestler and not anything else. It's not fair to dig up all his dirt after he is no longer around to defend himself or explain his actions, let's not derail this thread with this garbage

nobody had to dig up any dirt.

he put those comments on the internet himself. and if he truly regretted those comments, he wouldve released a public apology in one of his rants.

look man, im a huge warrior fan & its too late to do a complete 360. but theres no way you can defend that chit. he was a dikkhead. point blank.

I dunno why everyone is so surprised by his remarks

Anyone that was born when segregation was around is probably safe to say a closet racist

You think Hoe-Gan or Vince isn't somewhat racist?

Did everyone forget HHH being blatantly racist with Bookah T?

They even booked the Mexi-Cools as gardeners :sadcam:

But this is *exactly* what he did. Both to Heath ledger, as well as Katrina victims.

This shyt, although foul, *was* in character.

If he had a shoot ineterview calling Booker T a rhesus monkey, that would be a different story.

Those comments were about as foul and racist as they get, but Warrior the man and the Ultimate Warrior character are not one and the same.

It's the old question of how much you can separate the performer from the character,

Personally I never gave a solitary fukk about the Ultimate Warrior. I was too young when he was in WWF and I've had never had any inclination to go back and watch his matches.

Obviously it's sad that he died for his family and all that but I'm not shedding any tears, especially when you consider all the comments he's made over the years about nearly every minority going.

The most fukked up thing I got from that is that he only met Warrior once and had an overall great interaction with him, yet he said a bunch of negative shyt on the DVD just because of marching orders.

Nah...Jericho and Christian didn't bash him. They made light of his promo style and put over his charisma and theme music. Jericho has always tried to a analyze why certain acts are so hot and over historically. He's done it when speaking on Bryan, Rock, Eddie, Austin, etc.

i didnt know he did a commercial for wwe 2k14(did it air on tv?). i watched it the other day and he looked like he was in bad shape there too. why was he limping? dude definitely knew he was sick. it all makes sense now.

I never heard his thoughts on Katrina or MLK before I saw someone post them in another Warrior thread. I don't condone them at all, but he's gone now so :manny:

man i remember there being a bad buzz over warrior's katrina comments but i never actually read them. and i never knew about the MLK comments until now.

but i never heard a black wrestler bad-mouth the warrior. this ahmed interview is similar to what zeus was saying about the warrior on rosenberg show.

did warrior develop his train of thought later in life?

AND BEFORE YALL CALL AHMED A c00n.
