I feel like when these type of tragedies happen (Kobe) and X , it’s not celebrity worship... I grew up on these guys and to see them go prematurely for all the enjoyment/emotion etc. they were able to provide to me .. it hurts man

Same here, growing up I used to borrow my brother/sisters albums but It's Dark & Hell Is Hot was the first album I went and bought with my own money on release day, then moms came thru with Flesh of My Flesh for Christmas. DMX first run of albums came in my middle school/HS years, X's shyt definitely got played the most with friends, school functions, locker rooms, on the way to HS football games to get me amped up. X dying is gonna be like losing a part of your adolescence for alot of us.
