What's crazy bout this. I went back to rewatch and the last Drink Champs with X (didn't get a chance to see it all originally) and in the comments alot of people were going off on Nore for having X drink knowing he had been in rehab

Why would Nore even do that? I know its called DRINK champs but as a host and somebody for the “culture” you should at the very LEAST look out for someone like X.


Nore’s kind of pulled that bullshyt a few times now that I think about. Urging nikkas to drink who clearly say they don’t want to because of health reasons

I literally lost all respect for DEHH after that recap. Then again, these the same nikkas that said Will Smith was more lyrical than Rakim.

And rightfully so. It’s not even like Nore just asks nikkas if u want a drink. U will tell him no and give the reasons. And no matter the reason. He KEEPS pushing it. Dude has no care for people’s journey’s or internal struggles. Cam literally strong armed him and told him “NAH Zeke not drinking...”. And as far as Swizz. I’m feeling weird about how he posted up a pic of X in the studio with him that night. Then deleted that shyt. I have a bad feeling about that.

Yea I remember Mega told him nicely like three times he wasn’t going to drink but then he took a lil sip so he’d shut the fukk up.


I definitely understand the format and it makes sense most of the time. You get celebrities shyt faced and you get better stories. But for guys like X or Lamar Odom or ANYONE who lets you know that they are in AA or struggling with addiction its a terrible look to PUSH them to drink.

Yea watched the Cam episode yesterday and it was a great episode but that bugged me a bit. He tried to pressure him more than once too. Like fam he said he’s not drinking just respect that and move on don’t force the issue. Then when Freaky Zekey came on and said he wasn’t drinking either he started making subtle remarks. I get that it’s drink champs and that’s the brand but I would imagine he and Cam spoke before the show cause they were hanging out weeks prior and I imagine Cam would’ve told him he’s not consuming alcohol so why be a dikk about it on the show. Besides that I really enjoyed the interview.

I’d give Swizz the benefit of the doubt. Swizz has STAYED in X’s corner all these years and always bigged him up and talked about trying to help him in any way he can. I know the situation is fukked up right now but unless we ever get evidence that Swizz was enabling I think thats ONE guy who shouldn’t be under suspicion until proven otherwise

I would argue any nikka to the death about X not being a lyricist. That’s just simply a bullshyt statement. Even DEHH. Most of em like X but there’s one of em who doesn’t like him at all and doesn’t even like IDAHIH. His excuse is X wasn’t a very good lyricist and they was like “it’s not about that with X, It’s the energy”. I’m like nah ALL y’all some cornballs that’s selling him short. If somebody can listen to IDAHIH and walk away feeling like there ain’t no lyricism in it that says more about them as listeners than X’s lyrics.

He just tried that with Cam and Zeek and Zeek told him he was in AA and still tried to get him to drink. He tried it with Mega to and I think the only reason he Mega took the shot casue Nas was on the phone with them at the time. If he wasn't I don't think he wouldn't have took it especially giving his stance on his first appearance

If I'm reading reports correctly, he's in a vegetative state with lung and brain failure. I hate to sound morbid, but I'd rather him die in peace than the alternative if you even want to call that a recovery.
