Was listening to 24 hrs to live on repeat earlier today..damn what a fukking sad situation. All this time I've been.listening to DMX...this is it? Heart shattering.
trying to think if outside of Big n Pac was X the biggest hiphop artist in my lifetime to potentially be up outta here

and as much as I love Prodigy/Mobb Deep, Pun, Sean Price etc..

He just might be...

Him and Jay Z were literally the two titans of Hiphop after the previous titans fell (Pac n Big)

(No direspect to the little nikkas like XXXtensions, Juice world, King Von, Pop Smoke etc....but lets be honest them nikkas ain't really hiphop)

Anyone got Its Dark And Hell Is Hot in their top albums ranking?? That shyt is a masterpiece and has aged beautifully. Plus I was put on to it at an important time in my adolescence so it holds a very sacred spot for me.

Greatest album of all time

-production
-radio hits
-cultural influence
-world wide impact
-sales

if I say I heard that album front to back at least 300 times I would be lying

I was really getting into my late 90's shyt this week in preparation for Cam's DC episode. Naturally got to X, particularly Flesh of My Flesh cause I got alot of memories associated with listening to that album.

This is really bizarre and depressing, feels like a bad dream.
