In July, Los Angeles will host a visual homage to the late hip-hop icon DMX.

“The Rise of Dark Man X: Presented by DJ Superior” a collaboration between NOFUN!, Most Hated Entertainment, and ESM Representation, is set to take the stage at the Latino Theater Company in Los Angeles on July 11th, 12th, and 13th. The performances will commence at 8 pm Pacific time.

The tribute will spotlight DMX through previously unseen interviews, live performances, music videos, as well as unheard songs and demos recorded from 1987 to 1999 by DJ Superior, who was DMX’s producer, manager, and lifelong friend. The three-night event is produced by DJ Superior, Jonah Levine, and Kevin McGill.

DJ Superior, a Yonkers, NY native who grew up with DMX, will present a chronological journey through visuals and audio from his personal collection. Many of the tracks DJ Superior recorded in his room from 1987-1998 skyrocketed to international fame after DMX signed with Ruff Ryders and Def Jam.

This live performance will not only showcase DMX’s iconic hits but also offer an exclusive unveiling of new material. Each evening will be enriched with special guest appearances and unexpected performances.

“I’m excited to resurrect DMX’s spirit. We were akin to brothers,” expressed DJ Superior. “This show is destined to be extraordinary, and I eagerly anticipate sharing this experience with everyone.”

All three nights will be free from phone distractions.
